For small sites and curated URL lists
Free XML sitemap generator
Paste your public page URLs and download a ready-to-upload sitemap.xml. The list stays in your browser. No account or email required.
What the generator does
It checks URL format, removes fragments and duplicate URLs, and escapes XML characters. Query strings are preserved, so remove tracking URLs yourself and use your preferred canonical pages. All URLs must use the same hostname.
It includes only the URLs you paste. It does not discover pages, inspect robots.txt or noindex, validate canonicals, or confirm indexing. Use the website audit to review a small page sample separately.
How to publish the sitemap
- Review your list. Include public pages you want indexed, not private, redirected or deliberately excluded URLs.
- Download the XML and upload it to your website, usually at
/sitemap.xml. Check that the public URL returns the XML file. - Submit the sitemap URL in Search Console for a site you manage, or declare it in robots.txt using your own site's address.
- Update the file when pages are added or removed.
Sitemap: https://example.com/sitemap.xmlDo not replace an existing CMS sitemap without checking how it is maintained. WordPress, Wix and other platforms may already generate one automatically; that is usually better for a frequently changing site.
XML sitemap questions
Does this crawl my website?
No. It converts your supplied URL list into XML. For a large site or automatic discovery, use your CMS or a crawler that supports sitemap export.
Why are priority, changefreq and lastmod missing?
Google ignores priority and changefreq. A useful lastmod must reflect a real significant update, so this generator does not invent modification dates.
Will a sitemap get every page indexed?
No. A sitemap helps discovery but does not guarantee crawling, indexing, rankings or AI citations. Check indexing evidence separately in Search Console.
Are my URLs sent to Firm Beacon?
The generator runs locally in your browser and does not submit the pasted list to our server. Loading this page still makes normal website requests.
