Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The selected file is read by your browser. Firm Beacon does not receive or save the PDF through this tool. Normal page requests and anonymous website analytics still occur when you visit the site.
Can it read a scanned PDF?
Scanned pages usually contain images rather than selectable text, so they may produce little or no text. Use OCR when you need to read a scan.
Will the original layout be preserved?
No. This tool extracts text in reading order. It does not preserve exact fonts, columns, tables, images, forms or page design.
Do I need an account?
No. The tool works without an account or email address.
