How generation works
We use your browser's crypto.getRandomValues() API, not Math.random(). Rejection sampling avoids bias when selecting characters. Candidates missing a selected character group are discarded.
Is my password sent anywhere?
The generator does not upload passwords or save them in browser storage. Loading this page makes normal website and analytics requests. Analytics may record generation and copy actions, but not the password, length or selected character types.
Does this guarantee account security?
No. This tool does not check breaches, predict cracking times or inspect the account's rules. A compromised device, phishing or password reuse can still expose an account. Short passwords or a limited character set offer fewer possible combinations. Eight characters is this tool's lower limit, not a security recommendation.
