How to rotate a PDF without uploading it

You can change the orientation of every page in a PDF in your browser. The source file stays on your device.

Updated 5 October 2026. The tool applies the same selected angle to every page.

Rotate the PDF in three steps

  1. Open the PDF rotation tool and select one PDF up to 50 MiB and 50 pages.
  2. Choose 90, 180 or 270 degrees clockwise.
  3. Choose Rotate PDF, download the result and review it before sharing it.

The selected PDF is read in your browser. It is not uploaded or saved by the tool, and no account is required.

What the rotation does

The selected angle is added to the current page rotation. A 90 degree choice turns every page clockwise by a quarter turn, while 180 and 270 degrees make larger turns. The tool applies one angle to the whole document, not separate angles to individual pages.

Review the downloaded file

Open the result in a PDF viewer and check the first, middle and last pages. Confirm that page orientation, text, images and important layout look right. Keep the original until the rotated file is approved.

Digital signatures, interactive forms, bookmarks, metadata and other advanced PDF features may not survive the rewrite. Do not discard the original before checking a document that matters.

Common limits

The browser tool accepts one PDF up to 50 MiB and 50 pages. Encrypted, damaged or unsupported PDFs may fail. Larger or complex files may need more browser memory. The page and its libraries must load first, but the selected PDF is not sent to a server.
